I've had one for about a year now and it's looks as good as the day I first put it in the yard! I've just purchased a second one because of it's popularity with the hummers! This is one truly nice combo, a feeder with a weather guard! It looks great hanging in the yard and is very well made. The red color is bright and vibrant almost hypnotic with a translucent like appearance. This combo includes a translucent 12oz. feeder containing a generous six feeding ports and it's made of super strong and durable polycarbonate. A simple design and has no locking clips or levers. The lid simply lifts off so the birdfeeder can be filled and cleaned. The nectar does not spill out easily even will high winds in a T-storm. It's crazy easy to fill and easier to clean.

I like that this feeder has perches for the birds so that you can watch as they rest and feed. It's a great shelter for them when it rains too! It also helps shade the feeder from the hot summer sun and I believe keep the nectar fresher longer (still change and clean at least once a week). The extra red on the weather guard helps attract them too. I've not had any trouble with bees, wasp or ants. I see plenty of them in the yard, but they don't seem to have any interest in this feeder. This maybe due to other factors as I don't see anything on the actual feeder to discourage or repel bees, or wasp.

I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone!

Possible improvement(s):

I do like the idea of a raise the bar on a hummingbird feeder. An elevated-perch design from my understanding would give you an unobstructed view of visiting hummers, even those on the far side of the feeder.
