What can I say? I put sunflower seed in this thing and birds come and eat it. My main concern for the feeder was the size of the seed I like to use (sunflower) and where it was made. In the USA! I did drill bigger drain holes in the bottom since I live in the Pacific Northwest and we see plenty of rain. Other than that, it's great! Been hanging out there for over a year now and still looks new. I've put about 80 pounds of sunflower seed through it and it is holding up very well. Very nice feeder for the price.

Droll Yankees UC Universal Cover Review

This is a large, well built cover that I use to keep the snow off the seed tray. The clamp is easy to tighten and it stays put. It all works great and is just the thing to keep snow off your seeds. I positioned it somewhat low to discourage the mourning doves from lounging and sleeping on the seed tray and it works for that too. Very pleased with this item, highly recommend.

This Humming bird feeder works well (Now). The birds use it regularly and will frequent every flower (all 4) for their feeding routines. However, when i first received it the plastic bottle was not formed together enough to be air tight. So when you turning it over to hang it the liquid would just leak out b/c there was no vaccuum in the top. With that said, some glue all around the top seam (Where the hanging hole it) it fixed the problem.

Remember this isn't a glass highend feeder. However, it DOES work well and the birds love it! Just goes to show nature doesn't always care how much money you throw at it.

I use this to get the birds used to coming around for food so they recognize and try the flowers I've planted to feed them as well....works well so far!

As for the mixture - 30% regular sugar 70% warm water to disolve the sugar. Hang and let it do it's thing.

The article was very appealing in appearance; however, I am puzzled about its use: the holes are so big that you would have to use huge seeds to keep them from falling out. I thought it was a suet feeder when I ordered it; there again, the door for access is so small that the suet cakes will have to be cut in chunks..............what kind of seeds are used in the picture???? I did send it for a gift and let the recepients worry about filling it.

Avant Garden H04 Cupola Wild Bird Feeder Review

Bought two of these and they are metal with a small feed tray which has drain holes. It stays dry inside and the drains in the feeder trays work very well. Think you could put almost any feed in them, I have used a general mix with cracked corn, Oil Sunflower Seed in the hull, and mixed round seed. All worked very well and don't come pouring out on the ground. It is metal except for the windows and should last a long time. DEAR OLD BLACK BIRDS found the narrow shelf easy to master, Woodpeckers (large ones) grab the ledge and cling vertical while feeding, but some of the smaller birds seemed to have trouble adjusting to the small ledge. Now they probably would have learned to adjust, but I had some latex paint, same color about, with sand in it. So I painted the edges of the ledge with that and none had a problem then. When I hung them on my multi arm shepard's staff hangers,the Roosters blended with the back ground too much, soooooo, I painted them with Red Enamel Paint, and the Stars on top with Gold Paint, ORIGINAL RIGHT? Haaaaaa I do take them down to fill since they will tilt if you remove the top when hung by the cable, and I make sure the top is on correctly before picking them up after filling. I like these better than any other feeder I have tried for sunflower, or general round seed, and am thinking of getting another one, price is good too. Yes I do recommend them.

This camera is a very effective way of getting very nice pictures and short vids of what goes on in your backyard when you're away. I'm using it now to document who goes on each type suet. My only complaint is the memory died quickly and had to be replaced. There was an offer for a free one when you register but my camera doesn't have a serial number on it anywhere so I guess that offer is void.

Well a few summers later and the display to change settings is unreadable. I would bring it in on hot days. The video stopped after year one. Nice when I got it, but down to pictures only at whatever setting it's on at the moment.
