I bought two of these 15 years ago and am still using the same ones. If you take a second bottle, cut the bottom out and slip it over the hanger to where you have two bottles back to back it makes them 100% squirrel proof.
Funny as heck watching the squirrels trying to get a grip or just jumping from the tree trunk and falling off. Each year the young ones have to learn on their own.
I just recently bought a new pair but after 15 years the originals are still going strong.
No feeder I have ever tried works as well for keeping squirrels at bay.
