The pole is not durable enough to with stand strong winds with a bird feeder attached at the top. We had high winds one night (30-40 mph) and the next morning the pole was bent from the continued battering of the winds. I would not recommend this product, because the construction of the pole is poor. Had to buy a solid steel pole to mount the bird feeder.
