I just got this birdfeeder and immediately noticed a problem. When you try to fill it with black oiled sunflower seeds, many of the seeds fall through the openings and make a mess on the floor. Also when you shake the feeder lots of seeds fall out. So I am assuming the squirrels will cause it to lose a lot of seeds as they struggle to eat. It hasn't rained yet, but I'm afraid it will also get waterlogged.
