Unlike what's stated on the website, this feeder is extremely hard to keep the mold out. The bottle opening is so small that there aren't any brushes on the market can reach inside to scrub the interior of the bottle. In addition, the moisture gets trap in the bottle that it takes more than a week to dry. Unless you're willing to use bleach (environmental unsound and highly toxic to animals) and insert rice to do the scrubbing + killing molds, you should not consider buying this product. Vinegar is safe but not as effective if the container isn't allow to dry. The plastic part also has a hard-to-reach area that you need to use a curved brush to do the job.What a shame. I really love the safe materials (glass and #5 plastic) of this feeder.
