The workmanship on this birdhouse was pretty disappointing. The cleaning door was practically falling off when it cam out of the box and the latch was very cheap. There were gaps in the woodwork and it was just overall cheap. This was not worth $30.00 and I am in the process of returning it. I should have paid more attention to the poor reviews by other Amazon users on other Esschert birdhouses.
