Walk behind spreader with poly hopper (50-pound Capacity)Brinly-Hardy 20 Series with Poly Hopper, 50-Pound Capacity Review
We were like most people and bought spreaders from our local home and garden store. Those store spreaders would only last for a few uses until something would break on them. After buying a scrapyard full of spreaders, I decided to research spreaders and stop wasting money. This company had very good reviews with their spreaders. It was a little pricey, but when it came I was pleasantly surprised. It is a very sturdy piece of equipment. The pneumatic tires are a huge plus. It makes rolling over any terrain an easy job. The hopper holds a good amount and it is designed so there is nothing left in the corners and you don't have to shake it to get everything out. A huge plus is the adjustable height handle. Being 6'0, most equipment makes you stoop over to use it, but this handle adjusts to a more comfortable height so my back isn't strained. I love that the gears are enclosed too. No more spilled seeds/fertilizer and no more dumping on starts/stops. It has postive on/off handle, no cable. This is probably the best part about this spreader. The cable always stretched/wore beyond use on other spreaders. No cable on this one! It comes with a screen cover if you have leftover product and don't want to waste it. I have used this spreader for a few months now and I am very happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a good spreader that will last. I am just sorry I didn't find it long ago before I wasted so much money on the cheaper home & garden store ones. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Brinly-Hardy 20 Series with Poly Hopper, 50-Pound Capacity" are high quality item.
