The only hummingbird in 'my neck of the woods' is the Ruby Throated Hummingbird. I've tried a number of highly rated, multi-port feeders that the hummers ignored. They ALWAYS come to this little feeder.....and another with a "white petal"......I hang them on my yellow clothesline right outside my backporch. The hummers seem to love sitting on the clothesline and then fly to the feeder.
Yes, these feeders don't hold a lot of nectar but the hummers in my area seem to like them ALOT!! I'd rather add nectar daily than waste anymore $$ on more expensive and larger feeders.
