I love this little birdhouse. I don't see it as a toy for small children as it's not really made for that, however, I can say that it would be perfect to add to a dollhouse. It's just too cute for words, and it actually has tiny "bird seeds" inside! I ordered two, and may very well be ordering more as gifts. There are others in my family that collect miniatures, and a couple that collect birdfeeders and birdhouses. I think this would be a great surprise for them. I think it's very well made, just not sure how it would hold up to a child's daily play.

If you think you may want one, by all means get it! I really doubt anyone would, or could, be unhappy with it!
