There are very few actual seeds in the mix as opposed to this green foam looking stuff that I believe is a sort of mulch. I bought them to fill little tins for a garden themed wedding favor. I ended up going to a store to buy actual wildflower seeds. Not sure how well the work as far as being planted but the instructions claim that they are easy to plant and grow. I feel the price was definitely not worth the fact that there is less than half actual seeds in the mix.
