It does not spill.
It outlasts hurricanes and squirrels (they really do spin right off).
It is easy enough for cardinals, sparrows and bluejays to use.

It does not come with any watch to attach the bird feeder to anything. This one is a no brainer but may save some people a second shipment from amazon. Order some picture hanging wire (the steel mesh) and an eye-hook and you can secure this thing to anywhere.

Also a tip for people who want to easily pull the unit down. Lift the green roof and pull the steel wire out of each side to let the plastic piece fall off. The plastic piece can then be refilled and re-attached to the hanging part.
