I've purchased several packs for the house. The birds were striking the windows a LOT, especially during migration and the decals do really help out. Our windows are floor to ceiling, there are 4 in the living room, 2 in the dining room, 2 in another bedroom and then 3 more in the family room which are all on the same side of the house. I have the decals postioned at the top (where it's recommended) of about 6 of the windows to help the birds avoid the windows. It does seem to help as we haven't heard any more birds striking the windows or seen any birds on the ground since they were put up. It's an inexpensive way to save bird lives so I strongly recommend them. The only thing is you can see them from inside (and outside, of course) so being placed high prevents them from being very noticeable and will not ruin your view.
