As a Birdfeeder Assembly is fast and easy. First, seal the entrance of the pod with the feeder plug, just snap it into place. Next, turn the pod upside down and remove the clean-out cap. Simply fill the pod with 2 lbs. of your favorite seed. Now attach the feeder bowl securely to the bottom of the pod. Turn the pod right-side up and screw in one of the 12” rods. I really wanted to love this bird feeder. If I had rated it after the first day of use, I would have given it 5 stars. I liked the unique look of it, how it was adjustable, etc. It is not squirrel-proof, as hardly any feeder is. Even with the dome at its lowest possible setting, squirrels still managed to figure it out.

Then, after a windy night I looked outside in the morning and the feeder was on the ground, with the rod still hanging on the tree. The externally-threaded rod screws into the top of the bird feeder, but because the entire thing is plastic, the tip broke off in the feeder. Now it's useless because it can never hang again!
