We have alot of Crakles here black birds.. those agervating birds you need to get rid of !!! Well this Feeder is the one you want!!!!!!!!!! Holds a bout 12 lbs of food.. Can mix your food in it.. if you like I use sunflower seeds mostly... U can adjust the tention so u can let birds of dif sizes that you want to be eating the food.. I have mine set on the lightest weight which dose finches.. yellow birds red finches.. This when full is very heavy so make sure you have a good pole to suport it.. when your hanging it.. I took a chain and slid it throw the handle just incase i didnt want it falling off the J pole i have it on.. in the wind. when its full it bairly swings.. in 50 + winds.. which is amazing to me.. Thank you Akerue Industries for great help in picking this one out for me.. comes with a pole also but right now ground frozen so will use it hanging.. from a pole.. Easy filling small clasp to push in the top flips back.. Make sure that you lift the top when you are closing it... fliped back because it has a way that it keeps it open wile you fill it dosent fall on your knuckles.. Love it!!!
