I am not getting a ton of birds but they do come. Mostly sparrows and the occasional woodpecker. We have bear issues so I cannot have bird seed falling on the ground. My feeder is 10 feet in the air and this fits nicely in the seed cage. This helps keep the seeds confined. Not as good as loose seed but at least I don't have to wait till winter to watch the birds. I am hoping more finches will come!
